1990

We started in the name of Sree Mangalmoorthi Starch Industries.

We stepped in the market with a vision to provide products such as tapioca starch, tapioca chips flour and other tapioca products to textile sizing industries

1994

Extended our market to the textile region of Tamil Nadu and the textile and adhesive industries of Maharashtra, Gujarat and Delhi.

1999

We started manufacturing our products using a fully automated plant and our market spread across South India.

2001

Our market reach spread all over India

2002

Started marketing textile sizing chemicals & auxiliaries in the name of Sree Boomeeshwar Traders to reach out to the the existing customers’ requirement.

2003

Introduced new products such as textile yarn/Fabric processing chemicals & auxiliaries to our product base.

Acquired own trucks to give the customers the best service.

2004

Establishment of branch offices at Coimbatore & Erode.

Expanded customer servicing points.

2005

Modified starch products along with the existing native starch products.

2006

Liaison for the annual contract of 1600 tons in Tamil Nadu News Print Ltd – Karur, Tamilnadu (The largest paper manufacturer in single location in India.)

2007 - 2008

Achieved the landmark of 1500 tons per month, becoming the largest marketers of starches in Tamil Nadu.

Expansion of customer servicing points at Rajapalayam.

2009 – 2010

Achieving 2000 tons per month starch sales and thus emerging as the market leader of starches in India in the name of Angel Starch & Chemicals Pvt Ltd.

2011 – 2012

Giant steps to become a global company by having satisfied customers in more than 9 countries.

Started working for the new production facility in new location with state of technology using German machines for the customization of products and modified starches for food ingredients, textile, paper, packaging and bio polymer industries has been initiated.

2012 - 2013

The name has been changed from Angel Starch & Chemicals Pvt Ltd. to Angel Starch & Food Pvt Ltd., to ensure our focus on Food Industry.

Concentrated on highly customized and tailor made products for food ingredients, one shot textile sizing product and specific products customization for various other industries.

Served customers from 16 countries across world.

2013 - 2014

Innovated one shot textile sizing product for textile warp yarn sizing for power looms for the first time and by doing this we created a history.

We also developed one shot product for Shuttle less looms which is highly cost effective comparable to products available in the market. The product has been applied for patent. These one shot sizing product will help the textile sizing industry not only in India, also to the textile weaving industry in the advanced and developing economies of the world for coming out of using various complex ingredients to a simple recipe which will enhance the productivity to the great extent and reduce the costing very much.

2013 - 2014

2017 - 2018

We have launched Foodix brand on 8th Oct 2017 with Several products such as Fry Mix, Soup Mixes, Milkshakes, Halwa Mix and So on.

We have also bagged Silver Certification at ZED (Zero Defect Zero Effect).
